In line with the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister to strengthen connections between Northeast India and the rest of the country, IRCON has successfully integrated newly developed Nischintpur yard near Agartala station, a border station, into the Indian Rail Network. This remarkable achievement was marked by the arrival of the first goods train. This milestone is the result of a joint effort between IRCON and Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR). With the placement of first cement rake on 24th March, 2025, this historic day will be remembered as a symbol of progress and integrated rail network, strengthening India's connectivity and fostering development.
