Shri Dhananjaya Singh, aged 51 years, holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from University of Lucknow.

He is presently working as Executive Director (Works), Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Before the present assignment, he has worked in Railway Board in various work positions including Directors (Works) (Railway Board), Senior Divisional Engineer (Northern Railway). He was on deputation to Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation (MRVC) as a Deputy Chief Project Manager.
