Objective

IRCON Vigilance shall establish a preventive approach and continually strive to improve the systems & procedures to create an environment in which people are able to work with devotion & integrity and in an impartial and transparent manner thereby upholding the highest ethical standards for the organization.

Structure and Function

IRCON Vigilance is headed by a Chief Vigilance Officer assisted by a General Manager/Vigilance, Joint General Manager, Dy. General Manager and supporting staff. Functions of the Vigilance Department in brief are:-

1. Preventive Vigilance
2. Punitive Vigilance
3. System improvements
4. Co-ordination with CVC and Railway Board Vigilance, etc.
5. Vigilance clearance for employees
